Although being a victim of crime can be a difficult experience, a newly-launched young persons’ facility in Norfolk looks to offer them support – with the use of bean bags playing a role in this.
Victim Support Norfolk has redeveloped its Great Yarmouth centre to create a ‘young persons’ zone’ in order to provide somewhere safe for victims to talk about the problems they are facing, the Eastern Daily Press reports.
And with the facility featuring bean bag chairs, visitors could find they are able to relax in comfort.
They can choose to watch television while sitting on a bean bag, while music workshops will help them get in touch with their creative side and develop self-esteem.
But this is not the only youth centre to offer teenagers the chance to relax on such comfortable seating.
The Syracuse New Times reported last month that The Spot centre in Shoppingtown Mall gives those hanging out in the shopping outlet somewhere constructive to go. In addition to containing bean bag sofas, the facility gives young people the chance to play computer games and play pool.
