Parents are being invited to take their children to a recently-refurbished library to sit on bean bag chairs and read.
Next week the Claysburg Area Public Library in Pennsylvania will hold an Open House event giving people the chance to check out its newly-designed early reader section, WeAreCentralPA.com reports.
And with this part of the library featuring a number of new bean bags, people are urged to “curl up” with their kids and read with their little ones.
In addition to children’s bean bags, the library contains new picture books, a wooden train set and building blocks.
Officials point out it has been able to introduce so “many fun and educational additions” due to the Preschool Connections grant issued through the Library Services and Technology Act.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that as part of a week’s worth of events dedicated to reading the Lewis and Clark Elementary School in North Dakota transformed a multipurpose room into a dedicated area for children to get lost in books through the use of bean bag chairs and cushions.
