Such is the assertion of Neil Turner, who writes for Moviematics.com that such seating is "perfect" for watching DVDs in comfort.
"Line them up, dim the lights and you're ready to go," he points out.
And as Mr Turner claims that bean bag chairs are available in a variety of sizes and shapes, movie lovers should be able to find a chair that suits them when it comes to settling down to watch their favourite films.
Bean bags were also praised for being easy to move around the home and to store, with some "very reasonably priced" seats currently available to buy.
Writing in an entry for the Mom Logic blog last month, Lisa Riles claimed that bean bags can be a great item of furniture to sit on while watching films outdoors, particularly for young children.
