The comfort and easy-to-store nature of bean bags makes them the perfect choice for students furnishing their dorm rooms, it has been suggested.
According to home and gardens journalist Suzanne Rose, writing for Helium, bean bags serve as ideal chairs for students particularly after stressful exams when comfort and relaxation is needed.
She said: "You might just want to plop down in a bean bag chair. These can be comfortable and you can store it on your bed when not in use."
The fact that the comfy chairs come in various different sizes, colours and styles may be of interest to young students decorating their dorms, Ms Rose suggested.
Using a bean bag as seating in a reading nook has also been identified as a good study method.
New Orleans Net claimed that if a student cannot sit comfortably while doing studying or revising, the work will not be done properly.
